Quanisha Major

Quanisha Major, M.Ed., joined as principal of Marian Middle School in June 2026, kicking off the 2026-2027 school year.

She brings more than a decade of experience guiding schools toward stronger academics, deeper belonging, and a joyful, values‑driven culture. Her leadership journey has taken her from the classroom to key administrative roles, including serving as a school principal and, most recently, Director of Staff and Scholar Culture at Momentum Academy. During her tenure, Momentum Academy-Fox Park was recognized as one of the Top 5 schools in St. Louis for scholar growth in the 2024 PRiME Center at Saint Louis University Growth Report—a reflection of the high expectations, strong relationships, and instructional focus she helped cultivate.

Quanisha leads with heart, clarity, and an unwavering belief in the potential of every child. Parents often describe Quanisha as a leader who “sees the whole child.” She is deeply committed to culturally responsive practices, staff development, and creating school communities where every student feels known, supported, and challenged to grow. Her work is grounded in dignity, consistency, and care—tenets of Marian’s mission.

Quanisha holds two master’s degrees in education from the University of Missouri–St. Louis. She is a certified School Leader in the State of Missouri. Guided by her faith and a belief in the God‑given gifts of every young woman, she will partner closely with Marian’s families and faculty to continue the school’s legacy of excellence, formation, and transformative opportunity.
