Kristin Gumper serves as the Director of Development and Communications at Marian Middle School. In this role, Kristin works closely with the school president, Board of Directors and staff to plan, organize and direct Marian Middle School’s fundraising strategy, including major gifts, the annual fund, special events and capital campaigns.
In her previous experience, Kristin served as the Senior Director of Strategic Communications and Stakeholder Engagement at Wyman Center, a youth development nonprofit serving 22,000 youth nationwide. While there, she directed all of the organization’s fundraising events and donor communications; oversaw all external, internal and online communications; and relaunched the brand and its signature programs.
Previously, Kristin served as a senior manager at Standing Partnership, one of the state’s largest women-owned communications and reputation management firms.
Her work has won several accolades, including several International Association of Business Communicators Silver and Bronze quills, and appeared on the Discovery, History and Science channels, as well as the New York Times, USA Today, ESPN, MSNBC and more.
Kristin received her bachelor’s degree from Saint Louis University, and is a graduate of the Greater Missouri Women’s Leadership Challenge, as well as FOCUS St. Louis/CORO Women in Leadership program, class 61. She is also a 2011 graduate of the Global Reporting Initiative’s (GRI) Certified Training Program.
