Born and raised in the city of Saint Louis, Alanna Walls is no stranger to Marian Middle School. Alanna attended and graduated Marian in 2010 with her twin sister, Aliyah. As a result, Alanna has been able to excel in other areas of her life as well as pay homage to the prestigious institution. Due to having much assistance and encouragement from graduate support at Marian, Alanna was able to attend Incarnate Word Academy (IWA) with a full-ride scholarship. During her junior year at the all-girls Catholic high-school, Alanna was able to return to Marian to give back and complete her junior service. Alanna graduated from IWA in 2014 and soon after set forth into her college career. Alanna attended the University of Central Missouri and graduated in 2018, Majoring in Entrepreneurship with a Minor in Marketing. Shortly after graduating, Alanna took on the responsibilities as a “Big Futures Specialist” at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Missouri. A little less than a year later, Alanna was blessed enough to return “home” to Marian and become the College Readiness Officer. Alanna’s story has come full-circle, and with the aid of Marian, Alanna is looking forward to assisting each and every student the way that she was assisted throughout her entire educational and occupational career.
