Sherlyn and Myah, Class of 2019

“Sherlyn and Myah came to us as sixth graders. Most sixth graders would think that starting at a new school, with all new teachers and new friends to make, would be overwhelming but that was not the case for these two girls. Throughout the year, they both handled this transition with grace, courage, and ease.

One of the things that is absolutely amazing about Marian is how much it really feels like a family. Throughout the year, Sherlyn and Myah were kind, welcoming, and respectful towards all of their classmates. Starting at a brand new school can be a scary experience but Marian is the kind of environment that sets girls up for success!

Throughout their first year with us, they made significant academic gains in all subject areas. We believe in them and know that they will continue to shine in their time here at Marian and in life. They truly exemplify our guiding value of Family and Community Spirit.” ~Teacher (summer 2017)
