Read a profile about one of our amazing volunteers.
Without a strong core of volunteers, Marian could not effect the transformation that is central to our mission. We are blessed to have full-time volunteers through various Catholic communities who donate their time each year. They help with classroom instruction, the enrichment program, and development needs.
Volunteers can serve for a day, a week, a month or for a year. High School volunteers are also welcome. Here are some ways that you can get involved:
Professional Women's Mentor Luncheons
This is a unique program that introduces our students to outstanding female role models. Women talk about their career and life experiences with small groups of students who enjoy sharing lunch and asking questions.
Help With Enrichment
Assist staff with a class activity such as the school newspaper or serve as a homework tutor. (One afternoon per week is requested Monday through Thursday from 3:30 – 5:30.)
Be A Mentor
Build a relationship with a single student by assisting with homework and meeting weekly for tutoring while serving as a positive role model.
Share Your Story
Inspire the students with your special interest, background, or skills. Topics of interest include sports, fine arts, international cultures, and hobbies.
Answer phones, greet visitors and perform light clerical duties in an office environment. (Minimum two hour shifts per week 7:30 – 5:30.)
