Sister Barbara Roche, SL, is one of Marian’s foundresses and a member of the school’s Members Board. She joined the staff in 2013 after her retirement from Nerinx Hall High School, where she was president for more than 25 years. Prior to that, she served at several nonprofits, including The Sisters Energy Conservation Program, the National Nuclear Weapons Freeze Campaign, and the Missouri Coalition for Housing. Sister Barbara was also a military caseworker in the Washington office of Missouri Senator Stuart Symington and worked as the Social Advocate for her community, the Sisters of Loretto. She received a Bachelor’s Degree in History/Political Science with a minor in English as well as a teaching certificate from Webster University.
